Spc. Arthur P. Stubbs, raises his right hand as he is sworn in by the commander of Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 199th Brigade Support Battalion, Capt. Christian T. Griffiths, while re-enlisting into the Louisiana Army National Guard at Camp Liberty, Iraq. Stubbs, who committed to six more years of serving his country and state, is currently deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom as part of Louisiana?s Tiger Brigade. Mobilized Jan. 5, the 256th deployed to conduct convoy security and force protection to set the conditions for the responsible reduction of U.S. forces in Iraq and is expected to return home around the end of the year.
