Command Sgt. Maj. Alberto Delgado (right), the 21st Theater Sustainment Command senior enlisted leader, meets with Spc. Gerardo Gonzalez, the TSC Soldier candidate, during a luncheon held on “Day 0” of the European Best Warrior Competition Aug. 7 at the installation USO facility on Tower Barracks. Some 21 candidates will compete for top honors during the weeklong competition at the Grafenwoehr Training Area. Organizers will unveil the region’s ultimate warriors during an awards ceremony slated for early afternoon Aug. 11 at the Tower Barracks Physical Fitness Center. Winners will compete against top troops from across the service at the Department of the Army BWC Sept. 26-Oct. 3.
