The 53rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team gain command from the 115th Fires Brigade, at a Transfer of Authority ceremony here March 27. The transfer was complete after an approximate one month of left seat, right seat ride. Every level of soldier meet with their corresponding personnel, and went over their mission, and what was expected of them. The 53rd will continue the mission in support of the responsible drawdown of United States forces in Iraq.
