An American flag waits to be packaged and sent to the National Museum of the United States Air Force, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, after flying in the final flight of a MC-12W Liberty Sept. 16, 2015, at Beale Air Force Base, California. Although deployed Airmen are still supporting the mission downrange with the Army, the final flight represents Air Combat Command’s last MC-12W sortie. The MC-12W is a medium- to low-altitude, twin-engine turboprop aircraft, which provides intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance support directly to ground forces.
