Air traffic control instructor Patsy Thomas talks with Iraqi air force 2nd Lt. Shorsh Abdillah about tower rules at Camp Taji, Iraq, April 17. The Iraqi Training and Advisory Mission is in the process of transferring all operations to the Iraqi military for the U.S. draw down. Thomas is a member of the Washington Construct Group and is part of the transition team to assist in instructing future Iraqi air traffic controllers.
