    Louisiana National Guard

    The Louisiana National Guard's 769th Engineer Battalion and State Aviation Command work, May 11, to fill breaches in Lafourche Parish in an effort to keep oil tainted water from moving to closer to the coast of Louisiana. These Guardsmen were activated in support of operations related to the oil spill off the coast of Louisiana.
