U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Robyn Martinez, a 509th Medical Operations Squadron mental health technician, makes a simulated wound on an exercise player before an active shooter exercise at Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo., Aug. 5, 2016. A variety of moulage wounds were put on “victims” of the exercise in order to help the first responders decide how, and in which order, patients should be treated.
