(Aug. 12, 2016) – Seabees, from Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 25, and Debra Tosch, executive director of the National Disaster Search Dog Foundation, tour a slanted house built at the foundation’s training center by the Seabees as a natural disaster simulated training environment for search dogs and their handlers. Seabees from NMCB 25, based out of Port Hueneme, Calif., are constructing various training facilities at the center to simulate realistic disaster scenarios for search dogs under the Department of Defense Innovative Readiness Training Program.
