Wimbush, a tomb guard sentinel in training assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 4th Battalion, 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment "The Old Guard," marches to his post while World War II veterans witness the changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington, Va., April 30. Wimbush, a native of Woolwine, Va., guards the tomb for 30 minutes at a time during a shift that can last for more than four hours.
