Fort Polk, La—COL Brian Sullivan, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division, Commander, conducted a radio interview with Leesville’s KVVP/KROK radio personality, Mr. Rick Barnickel, on August 17, 2016, to discuss the brigade’s participation in the Army’s Association Unit Pilot Program and the upcoming patching ceremony changing out of the 10th Mountain Division patch to the 36th Infantry Division National Guard, from Camp Mabry, Tx. The Patriot Brigade is one of several active duty units slated to participate in the Army's AUP program partnering with the 36 ID "Arrowhead" National Guard units. “One of the great things about this association is we get to retain our lineage with 10th Mountain Division, but we get to add the proud lineage of the 36th ID, said Sullivan.” The official ceremony will take place September 17, 2016 at the Fort Polk installation.
