Staff Sgt. Tasha Carnahan, a paralegal with the United States Forces - Iraq Staff Judge Advocates office, reacts as the name of a good friend is read at a memorial ceremony May 15 at Camp Victory, Iraq, in honor of Army Military Police and Air Force Security Forces members who died during Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom in 2009. Carnahan, from Fremont, Neb., and her husband Roland, both attended the ceremony and were good friends with MP Sgt. Jeffrey Reed of Chesterfield Va., who died in a grenade atttack at Joint Base Balad in March 2009. The ceremony marked the end of National Police Week, which ran from May 9 to May 15, 2010.
