Plebes assigned to 1st, 2nd and 3rd Battalions conduct a two-mile regimental run back to the U.S. Naval Academy yard after completing Sea Trials obstacle courses at the naval station annex. Sea Trials is the capstone training evolution for the Naval Academy freshmen class. The plebes are physically and mentally challenged to navigate and work together through long-distance group runs, damage control scenarios, water training and a wide range of obstacle courses.
