Dr. Michael Gangwer, soil and terrain advisor of the U.S. Embassy, gives a class on soil testing and irrigation to faculty, students and fellow doctors at Tikrit University, Tikrit, Iraq, May 5. Dr. Gangwer's class on behave of the Department of State's Provincial Restoration Team is part of the effort to have specialists enlighten the Iraqi population on more effective ways to produce crop and improve economy and way of life.
