Soldiers of the 1st Engineer Battalion, 130th Engineer Brigade, out of Fort Riley, Kan., begin a four-mile run to commemorate the 1st Eng. Bn.'s 164th birthday, on Contingency Operating Base Speicher, near Tikrit, Iraq, May 20. The birthday was celebrated with a week-long series of events, including a softball tournament, history presentation and barbecue.
