Staff Sgt. Long, a medic with the 194th Engineer Brigade, Tennessee Army National Guard, trains soldiers in Combat Life Saving, referred to in the U.S. Army as “CLS,” during the week of August 15, 2016 at Novo Selo Training Area, Bulgaria during Operation Resolute Castle. During the training, Long showed students how to properly use tourniquets, Israeli bandages, hemostatic dressings, needle/catheter, and nasopharyngeal airways. Long simulated instances where you would use these supplies and gave students hands-on experience in using them. (U.S. Army photos by SPC Hannah Fraiser)
