SAN PEDRO, CALIFORNIA (Aug. 31, 2016) – A member of the Los Angeles Galaxy Star Squad signs a photo for Boatswain’s Mate 3rd Class Bismarck Gbede aboard amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6) during Los Angeles Fleet Week. Fleet week offers the public an opportunity to tour ships, meet Sailors, Marines, and members of the Coast Guard and gain a better understanding of how the sea services support the national defense of the United States and freedom of the seas.
