Staff Sgt. Ben Lolohea and Sgt. Michael Allen, civil affairs Soldiers with 486th Civil Affairs Battalion, currently attached to 1st Advise and Assist Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division, load a box of school supplies onto a truck with the help of local Iraqi citizens during a humanitarian aid drop May 24. "It was very rewarding to actually see the Iraqi people get [the supplies]," said Staff Sgt. Jan Rachels, another civil affairs Soldier with 486th. "Handing it over to them and seeing how happy they are to receive it is my favorite part. They really are grateful. It makes me really feel like I am making a difference."
