The Iraqi Minister of Defense, Lt. Gen. Abdul Qadir Mohammed Jassim Obeidi al-Mifarji, delivers a speech at the opening ceremony of the newly built Combined Division Operations Center at COL Deason, May 23. The 16th Engineer Brigade and 17th Iraqi Army Division's engineers worked together to build the 3,150 square foot structure, which will help 17th IA Div., track and control forces throughout its area of operations, which spans about the size of Rhode Island.
