SAN SALVADOR, El Salvador (Sep. 6, 2016) - Southern Partnership Station 2016’s (SPS 16) medical engagement team poses for a photo with a group of El Salvadorian students after a CPR lesson. SPS 16 is an annual series of U.S. Navy deployments focused on subject matter expert exchanges with partner nation militaries and security forces in Central and South America and the Caribbean. SPS16 is an annual deployment of U.S. ships to the U.S. Southern Command's area of responsibility in the Caribbean and Latin America.
