Lance Cpl. Miroslav Kazimir, Weapons Company, 3rd Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment, Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force - New York, rests on a railing after demonstrated a helicopter raid on the Coney Island Beach, May 27. The Marines allowed visitors to try on their equipment, hold their weapons and tour the helicopters used for the demonstration. The Slovakian-native machine gunner is one of More than 3,000 Marines, Sailors and Coast Guardsmen in the area participating in community outreach events and equipment demonstrations. This is the 26th year New York City has hosted the sea services for Fleet Week.
