The 49th Iraqi army Staff Sgt. Akhmed Ali Humidy checks casualty demonstrator and Grand Rapids, Mich., native Spc. Justin Murrey's pulse after a simulated battle. Humidy had found Murrey who was simulating an unconscious Soldier. Alpha Battery, 2nd Battalion, 3rd Field Artillery Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division out of Fort Bliss, Texas, trained the Iraqi army on combat lifesaving first aid May 20 at the Iraqi army brigade Headquarters compound in Dibbis District, Kirkuk province, Iraq.
