Greg Green, a water purification specialist assigned to Company A, 173rd Airborne Brigade Support Battalion, prepare a water purification system for operation, Sept. 10, 2016, as part of exercise Immediate Response 16 in Cerklje, Slovenia. Immediate Response 16 is a multinational, brigade-level command post exercise utilizing computer-assisted simulations and field training exercises spanning two countries, Croatia and Slovenia. Training like this immerses service members in real-world training scenarios to enhance unit readiness in the planning, preparation and execution of combat service support operations.
