A firefighter with the Nashville Fire Department makes his way up the staircase in during the 9/11 Memorial ceremony to honor the 343 firefighters who lose their lives 15 years ago, as part of Marine Week Nashville, Sept. 11, 2016. The ceremony was meant to demonstrate the number of stairs the first responders had to climb to save American lives. Marine Week gave the residents of Nashville a look at what the Marine Corps does and why they do it.
