Col. John Zenker (right), commander of 90th Troop Command, hands off the unit colors for the 345th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion to Major Steve Cheadle of Tishomingo, Oklahoma, during the unit’s last change of command ceremony in Ada, Oklahoma, on Saturday. Cheadle is taking over responsibility for the Battalion from Lt. Col. Robert (Shawn) Barefoot of Washington, Oklahoma, who has lead the unit since July 2014. The 345th’s headquarters unit is scheduled for deactivation and its component units will break into several support companies and reassigned to new commands within the Oklahoma National Guard.
