(September 17, 2016) Aviation Structural Mechanic Safety Equipment 3rd Class Emily Perry, attached to Operational Support Unit 1914, positions the tractor for wood chips to be loaded and used for the log erosion barriers (LEB) during the Black Forest Together volunteer event. The LEB’-s are used to prevent further erosion of soil due to heavy rainfall. Black Forest Together is a non-profit organization that helps people of the Black Forest region to recover, rebuild and restore their lives through the help of local volunteers, military members and other local organizations.
