    Rear Adm. Michael McAllister, Capt. Patrick Dugan, Sen. Lisa Murkowski, Capt. Jeffrey Westling, along with new residents, cut the ribbon to officially open new housing units for the Upper Government Hill neighborhood on Base Kodiak, Alaska, Sept. 17, 2016.

    The new housing provides 20 additional housing units for the more than 1,000 Coast Guard men and woman who live and work on Base Kodiak.
