ARABIAN GULF (Sept. 17, 2016) Aviation Structural Mechanic 3rd Class Brian Ware, from Shelby, N.C., uses a high speed pneumatic flap wheel grinder to remove corrosion off an MH-60S Sea Hawk assigned to the Dusty Dogs of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 7 in the hangar bay of the aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) (Ike). Ike and its Carrier Strike Group are deployed in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
