Tomas Martinez, a Los Angeles native and medic assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 2nd Battalion, 14th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division, United States Division - Center at a June 1 medical clinic in Qarghuli. U.S. military medical personnel gathered to provide the local residents basic care and medications during a combined medical engagement.
