A Marine with Engineer Platoon, Combat Logistics Battalion 24 adjusts the pressures knobs on a reverse osmosis membrane, a component of a light-weight water purification system or (LWPS) during a purification operation as part of Phibron/MEU Integration Training for the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit on Camp Lejeune, North Carolina Sept. 20, 2016. The Marines aboard USS Mesa Verde debarked the ship on September 19th to begin set up, and purification. During exercises like PMINT, it is the 'water dogs' mission to provide quality water to the units they support.
