French paratroopers from the 35th Parachute Artillery Regiment, 11th Parachute Brigade perform an airborne operation with Sky Soldiers from 54th Brigade Engineer Battalion and 4th Battalion, 319th Airborne Artillery Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade as part of Exercise Colibri in Tarbes, France, Sept. 22nd, 2016. The paratroopers exited out of a C-130 Hercules of the 153rd Airlift Wing, Cheyenne Air National Guard Base, Wyoming Air National Guard, as they participate in multilateral training with U.S, French, German, British and Spanish Forces in support of Colibri 16. Approximately 15 Airmen, one C-130H from the 153rd AW and 340 paratroopers from the U.S Army’s 173rd Airborne Brigade and French Army’s Régiment d’Artillerie Parachutiste will participate in multinational airborne training events to enhance Allied interoperability and share best practices. Training engagements are essential to building cohesiveness, improving
