U.S. Army Central Soldiers and inspectors conduct an inspection of a motor pool facility and hazardous waste accumulation point on Camp Arifjan, Kuwait. A lack of environmental protection, long-running conflicts, natural conditions and industrialization issues prove to be daunting challenges that the military is constantly working to overcome. ARCENT’s goal is to appropriately manage available resources while maximizing operational capability, resource availability and well-being. This includes initiating actions to limit damage to the environment caused during full spectrum operations wherever and whenever possible.
