Airman 1st Class Nicholas Miller, 90th Missile Maintenance Squadron hardened inter-site cable systems technician, uses a sheath ripper to remove the outer casing protecting a HICS cable outside a launch facility in the F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyo., missile complex Aug. 23, 2016. HICS Airmen used slow, precise movements to prevent any accidental cuts in the cables. HICS is part of the 90th MMXS which maintains 150 Minuteman III ICBMs and the associated launch facilities spread throughout three states and 9,600 square-miles.
