GULF OF PANAMA (Sept. 23, 2016) - Lt. Eder Suclla, of Peru, coordinates 18 ships from 11 countries, forming around USNS Spearhead (T-EPF 1), as part of a multinational ship movement exercise. UNITAS, Latin for "unity," is an annual multinational exercise designed to enhance South American and U.S. naval and public security forces cooperation and improve joint maritime operations.
