Wyoming Army National Guard Sgt. Shelby Atkins hits the ground during the High Physical Demands Tasks (HPDT) test at Camp Guernsey Joint Training Center May 14. The nine-event graded evaluation came early in the two-week training/qualification school and included wall climbing, evacuating a 268-pound casualty, lifting and moving various loads including sandbags and missiles, and a 12-mile road march.
