Kashima arrived at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam to participate in various professional exchanges and social events with U.S. counterparts. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the U.S.-Japan Treaty of Mutual Cooperation of Security of 1960 that established the alliance between the two countries.
