Lance Cpl. Kendall A. Richardson, a machine gunner assigned to 1st Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, Regimental Combat Team 5, passes cold water to local Iraqis who were unable to leave the industrial area of Fallujah, Iraq, because of Marines and Iraqi soldiers operating there. The battalion worked directly alongside of the Iraqi Army and police to search the area for signs of insurgents operating in there. Iraqi Army soldiers located a weapons cache that included several assault rifles, rocket-propelled grenades and items used to produce improvised explosive devices.
