Lewis and Clark-class dry cargo ship USNS Wally Schirra offloads pallets of dry food and water stores at Naval Station Guantanamo Bay, Cuba as part of the Navy's Project Handclasp Foundation, Inc. The pallets will enter temporary storage at a Guantanamo warehouse and are scheduled to be retrieved by High Speed Vessel Swift in September. Project Handclasp Foundation, Inc. is a Navy program that coordinates transportation and delivery of humanitarian, educational and goodwill material donated to the foundation by corporations, charitable and public service organizations and private citizens throughout the United States for distribution to foreign countries who need aid.
