SAN VICENTE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, Philippines ─ U.S. and Philippine service members work together to dig a trench while restoring a section of the San Vicente Elementary School during an engineering civic assistance project Sept. 24, 2016, in support of Philippine Amphibious Landing Exercise 33 (PHIBLEX). PHIBLEX 33 is an annual bilateral exercise conducted with the Armed Forces of the Philippines which combines amphibious capibilities and live-fire training with humanitarian civic assistance efforts to strengthen interoperability and working relationships through commitment, capability and cooperation.
