Drill instructors from Alpha Company, 1st Recruit Training Battalion, storm into a squad bay during the senior drill instructor inspection at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Sept. 26.the drill instructors inspected the recruit’s weapons and tested them on the knowledge they have learned while aboard the depot. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Alpha Company is scheduled to graduate Dec. 2.
