U.S. Navy medical technicians speak to retired corpsman Donald Baker, a chaplain’s assistant at the Palo Alto Veterans’ Hospital, San Francisco, Calif., Oct. 3, 2016 at San Francisco Fleet Week 2016. The sailors, though several generations apart, found they shared a common bond in their service. San Francisco Fleet Week is an annual event where thousands of Marines and Sailors come to showcase the capabilities of the Navy-Marine Corps team to residents, and an opportunity for service members to meet and thank the San Francisco community for its support.
