Joseph Martel, 206th MP Company first sergeant, furl their company's guidon during the 203rd MP Battalion and 206th MP Company end of mission ceremony, Contingency Operating Base Basra, Iraq, June 6. The 206th, a New York National Guard unit, conducted full spectrum military police operations while operating out of the Basra Operations Command, in which they fostered an enduring relationship between US forces and numerous Iraq Police agencies.
