John Tammen, Commander, Submarine Group Nine, duke it out in a seniority battle as the oldest active-duty member to perform the cake-cutting ceremony at the 2016 Navy Ball, held in the Bangor Ball Room, NBK – Bangor. The Navy Ball is an annual event, which celebrates the heritage, history and the day Congress created the U.S. Navy, Oct. 13, 1775.
