Showing his endurance, Spc. Colin O'Neil, a Soldier with the 443rd Civil Affairs Battalion out of Warwick, R.I., finishes his last obstacle here on June 15, as part of this year's U.S. Army Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations (Airborne) Best Warrior competition. O'Neil and 13 other Soldiers and noncommissioned officers from across the nation are competing to take home this year's Best Warrior of the Year Soldier, or NCO category. The 443rd CA Battalion is a subordinate unit under the 353rd Civil Affairs Command, which is under USACAPOC(A). The overall command is comprised of nearly 12,000 Soldiers in 67 units across 31 states and Puerto Rico. USACAPOC(A) is five percent of the U.S. Army Reserve Command's force and is responsible for approximately 20 percent of the Army Reserve deployments.
