A U.S. Air Force A-10 Thunderbolt II aircraft assigned to 357th Fighter Squadron, Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Ariz., prepares to participate in Green Flag West 17-01 at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev., Oct. 4, 2016. Green Flag-West 17-01 is a joint U.S. Air Force, Army and Navy exercise designed to train participants for complex aerial combat scenarios while supporting high-intensity ground and sea operations.
