Brig. Gen. Frank A. Cippola, Deputy Commanding General of the 88th Regional Support Command in Ft. McCoy, Wis., presents True Patriot Awards to the children of the Soldiers that attended the Yellow Ribbon Event held June 11-13, 2010 in Schaumburg, Ill. The Army Reserve Yellow Ribbon Program is a seven-part conference which takes place at intervals before and after mobilization gives Soldiers information, counseling, skills and techniques to help Families and single Soldiers prepare for and return from deployments. Representatives from colleges and universities, as well as informational booths on traumatic brain injury, veterans benefits, financial counseling, legal and other service organizations that can help returning Soldiers were set up to consult with troops.
