ARABIAN GULF (Oct. 16, 2016) Petty Officer 2nd Class Francisco Garcia signals to a C2-A Greyhound assigned to the Rawhides of Fleet Logistics Support Squadron (VRC) 40 on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) (Ike). Garcia serves as an aviation boatswain's mate (handling) aboard Ike. Ike and its Carrier Strike Group are deployed in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
