A jumpmaster receives a static line from a paratrooper, Oct. 17, 2016, during mock door training as part of Peacemaster Unity held at Aviano Airbase in Italy. Hundreds of paratroopers are gathered in Italy and simultaneously in Latvia, bringing together several partner and allied nations for one of the largest combined airborne operations. Paratroopers from Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania and the United States, are taking part in Peacemaster Unity which is being held over the course of four days, Oct. 17-20, 2016, and will culminate with a wing exchange ceremony.
