Military spouses do the "Frankenstein" as part of their warm-up, preparing to do a modified Combat Fitness Test during Jane Wayne Day at Sorenson Field aboard Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow, Calif., Oct. 14. The event has several segments to include the CFT, firearms training, a tour of Fleet Support Division, a tour of Marine Depot Maintenance Command's Production Plant Barstow as well as a tour of the stables where the Marine Corps' last Mounted Color Guard is housed along with the horses. The event is intended to give the spouses insight into a day in the lives of their loved ones who serve in the military.
