    ARABIAN GULF (Oct. 20, 2016) Petty Officer 3rd Class David Bacon, from Grant's Pass, Ore., conducts replacement maintenance on a cable assembly in the avionics shop of the aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) (Ike). Bacon serves aboard Ike as an aviation electronics technician and helps inspect, repair and maintain aircraft electronics. Ike and its Carrier Strike Group are deployed in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
