ARABIAN GULF (Oct. 21, 2016) Petty Officer 3rd Class Danita Mumford, from Roanoke, Va., mixes food coloring into butter cream frosting for brownies in the bake shop of the aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) (Ike). Mumford serves aboard Ike as a culinary specialist and is responsible for preparing and cooking food for the ship's crew. Ike and its Carrier Strike Group are deployed in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
